Dopesick: First Bottle

The Hulu miniseries focuses on rural America’s struggle with the opioid addiction across the US and how individuals and families are affected by it. Dopesick is based on the nonfiction book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors and the Drug Company that Addicted America by Beth Macy. It focuses on the legal case against Purdue Pharma as well as their development and marketing of the drug OxyContin.
