Join The Colonial Theatre and the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust for a pre-show discussion with Gal Potashnick of ACT, Will Abbott of SPNHF, and Sally Manikian of the NH/VT Conservation Fund followed by a screening of this award-winning documentary Public Trust and a post-film question and answer session. Public Trust is a striking film highlighting the 640 million acres of America’s Public Lands supporting biodiversity and carbon sequestration essential for the health of the planet and the powerful forces that threaten these public lands and waters. Richard von Busack of SF Weekly raves “Public Trust is as full of well-photographed environmental rapture as a Disney nature film. But it has far more of a point and much more of a reason to exist”. Learn more about the different types of land conservation in the US and what the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust is doing right here in our own backyard.

The Colonial Theatre’s Wild Thing film series is created in partnership with Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust and highlights films about the natural world.
