May 8, 6:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
This informative presentation and Q&A with New England’s forest pathologist for the U.S. Forest Service, Dr. Isabel Munck will dive into some of the science behind Fantastic Fungi, the premier title of our new Wild Thing series!
Wild Thing is presented in partnership with the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust (ACT). ACT works with communities and landowners to protect land for all who live in New Hampshire’s North Country, now and in the future. They focus on conserving the farms and working forests that are the foundation of our region’s economy and character. As part of their work, they also strive to educate and pique new or renewed interest in the natural world, connecting our communities to the land and each other. We are thrilled to partner with ACT to bring a series of fascinating nature-related films to our area, starting with Fantastic Fungi.
Space is limited – register today!
Do you already have questions about fungi for Dr. Munck? Submit them in advance here and we will include them in the Q&A.
